Reviews: I hope all is well. I fancy a black belt but before ordering was wondering if you could give me some advice regarding which leather, and which buckle. A while ago you mention black, presumably a silver buckle is best, I was thinking lossie like my other brown belts.Previously I had 6mm thick, 1.75 ins wide, lossie buckle, leather retaining loops and I was thinking similar in black? My waist is as before 88 cms / 34.65 ins.Hopefully as before we will be able to meet again in the west end at some point rather than have the belt posted? Kind Regards, Graham. Read more…
All our belts are individually made by Charlie Findlay and sized to exactly fit your measurement . Please check how we would like you to measure for your belt size. Five oval shaped holes are made with the centre hole fitting the measurement you have provided. The end of each belt is cut to an English point. The edges of the belt are sealed and burnished so your belt will glide effortlessly through the loops of your trousers. All the buckles we use are cast using solid brass, as a special order buckles and keepers may be nickel plated.
ONCE YOU HAVE PLACED YOUR ORDER: Charlie will contact you to confirm your exact size. You can also then discuss details such as the thickness of leather you would prefer, number of holes etc. He enjoys this personal contact with you and he will guide you through the various options he can offer. Please make sure he has all the information he requires from you so he can start to make your belt as soon as possible.
OUR PACKAGING: We are proud to tell you that all our packaging is free of plastic. The cardboard boxes we use are made of 75% recycled materials and offer secure postal protection. All the materials needed for shipping are recyclable and degradable.
